Applications are invited for admission to PhD in Agriculture and Rural Development under the School of Agriculture and Rural Development of RKMVERI for the 2023-24 academic session.

Eligibility

  1. Candidates with MSc in Agriculture and Rural Development / Rural Development / Rural Management / Geography, MSc (Ag) in Agricultural Extension or Agricultural Economics, Social Sciences, or related subjects with at least 60% marks are eligible to apply.
  2. Candidates with good academic record and preferably having JRF/SRF of UGC / ICMR / ICAR/ ICSSR, or any other government fellowship programme (e.g., INSPIRE awardee, or enjoying fellowship from any sponsored project) may apply.

  2. Date and time of Written test and Interview: will be announced later

How to Apply

  • New applicants have to first register on the Online Admission Portal, then login and fill up the online application form.
  • Online Admission Portal : https://isr.rkmvu.ac.in/admission
  • After successfully submitting the application form, pay the application fee (INR 500.00) online from the same Portal. Link can be found under ‘Options’ next to the program name on the Dashboard.
  • While filling up the online application-form attach the scanned copies of your passport size photo, mark-sheets and other applicable certificates/documents.
  • Once the Application-form is successfully submitted and application-fee is paid, a Receipt (and Application summary) will be available for download from the ‘Dashboard’ of the same Portal.
  • The Admit Card will be available for download when the dates for Admission Test / Interview are announced. Check this page regularly for updates.
  • Applicants need to bring the printed Admit Card on the day of the written test (if test is applicable). Alternatively, they may carry their Admit Card (PDF) in their smart phone.

Admission Process

  • The eligible candidates will have to appear in the ‘offline’ written test.
  • NET awardee need not appear in the written test but will have to appear in the interview. However, a prospective fellowship awardee (e.g., INSPIRE fellowship, savitribai jyotirao phule fellowship for single girl child, etc.) will have to appear in both written test and interview.
